#1 SCREEN TIME! Last year, according to Sensor Tower data, kids between the ages of 4 and 18 inhaled 107 minutes of TikTok and 67 minutes of YouTube per day.

#2 FOOD PRODUCTS: Plant-based meat-substitute food products are becoming more commonplace in grocery stores and restaurants. A recent Gallup poll, however, found that only 4% of Americans identify as Vegetarian and only 1% as vegan. These figures are similar to what Gallup has measured in 2012 and 2018.

#3 HOME INSURANCE: According to Insurify, Florida homeowners paid an average annual premium of $7,788 in 2022, more than any other state. Many insurers are leaving the state to avoid massive underwritings related to hurricanes and flood damages.

#4 WORLD RECORD: Nebraska women’s volleyball recently broke the world record for a women’s sporting event by packing in 92,003 fans to Memorial Stadium.

#5 SEPTEMBER EFFECT: September is usually the weakest month for the S&P 500. According to CFRA Research, going back to 1945, the average loss is 0.7%.
