#1 DFW AIRPORT: Fifty years ago, the cities of Dallas and Fort Worth came together to create DFW International Airport. Today, DFW Airport is the 2nd busiest airport in the world, covers more than 26.9 miles, and has over 60,000 workers on property daily, according to the Dallas Morning News.

#2 OPTIONS: Shorter-dated options, expiring in five or fewer days, accounted for about half of all options-market activity as of August, according to data provider SpotGamma, up from around one-third three years ago.

#3 BACK TO SCHOOL: According to the National Retail Federation, the overall expense of back-to-school items has increased by 12.8% since 2020, with electronics driving the cost escalation.

#4 OAT MILK: According to Circana, refrigerated oat milk sales increased by 21% in the 52 weeks ending June 18.

#5 SIDE HUSTLE: So far, in 2023, data from the U.S. Census Bureau reveals that roughly 3.1 million new businesses filed applications.
