#1 VIEWPOINTS: According to a new Gallup poll, 38% of Americans are conservative on social issues. That is a rise of +5 percentage points since 2022 and +8 pp since 2021. Conversely, only 29% say they have liberal social views. That is a decline of -5 percentage points over the last two years.

#2 STRESS TEST: The Federal Reserve Board released the results of its annual bank stress test. All 23 banks tested remained above their minimum capital requirements despite projected losses of $541B during the hypothetical recession.
